Doing push ups everyday - pros and cons

I have done push ups every day for 127 days now.
I have a lower limit of 30 a day.
I do it partly to improve my muscle mass, stamina and also endurance.
But I also do it to keep a mental discipline.
I cannot do 200 push ups every day without getting sore so therefor I let my body rest some days doing only 30.

Day 127:

I did 222 regular push ups. 100 of those were done outside.
Previous record for November was 221 therefor I did 222.
